  • Academic qualifications Applicants must have completed a UTS recognised Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification, or submitted other evidence of general and professional qualifications that demonstrates potential to pursue graduate studies.
    • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Technology with a strong academic record (e.g., 75% or above score).
    • Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a cognate field with a 70% or above score and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience may be considered.
  • Non-Academic Requirements:
    • An online application, application fee, transcripts, and a copy of passport are standard requirements. A resume and personal statement may also be required.

Language Proficiency

  • English language requirements (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL) If your prior education was not in English, you must provide evidence of English proficiency:
    • IELTS Academic: Overall band score of 6.5, with a writing score of 6.0.
    • TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 79-93, with a writing score of 21.
    • PTE Academic: Overall score of 58-64, with no communicative skill score less than 50.
