Course Overview
Civil engineers design and manage the construction of infrastructure such as bridges, roads, dams, buildings, and water systems. At LJMU, you’ll develop a robust understanding of engineering principles along with practical design and problem-solving skills.

Admission Requirements
- Sri Lankan A/L: 3 passes including Mathematics and Physics
- UK A Levels: 112–128 UCAS points (BBC–ABB) with Maths and a science subject
- IB Diploma: Minimum 28 points with Maths and Physics
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS 6.0 overall (minimum 5.5 in each component) or an equivalent qualification
Applicants with vocational qualifications or engineering diplomas will be considered for advanced entry.
Fees and Funding
International Tuition Fee:
£17,750 per year (subject to change)
