Course Overview

This course takes you on a journey from core design principles to advanced digital and conceptual thinking. In your first year, you’ll master visual communication fundamentals. In later years, you’ll specialise through optional modules and personal projects—culminating in a final degree show where your work is exhibited to industry professionals.

You’ll explore graphic design as a platform for communication, innovation, and social change—gaining the creative confidence and technical expertise to stand out in a competitive field.

You’ll work individually and in teams, with regular feedback from tutors and visiting professionals.

Admission Requirements

  • Sri Lankan A/L: 3 passes (including Art or Design-related subjects preferred)
  • UK A Levels: 96–120 UCAS points (CCC–BBB)
  • IB Diploma: 28 points minimum with creative subjects preferred

English Language Requirements:

  • IELTS 6.0 (with no component below 5.5) or equivalent

Portfolio Required:
Applicants must submit a creative portfolio demonstrating design potential, originality, and visual communication ability.
