Course Overview

This 120-credit BTM develops your leadership and management competencies in tourism, with a core focus on sustainability, entrepreneurship, and community impact. Customize your experience with one of three majors or four concentrations

Course Duration

Typically 4 years full-time. Co-op extension may be pursued via optional Co-op enrollment

Course Curriculum

  • Years 1–2 (Foundation):
    Intro to tourism, business, marketing, accounting, HR management, communications, math, geography, and electives
  • Years 3–4 (Specialization)
    Core courses in advanced tourism topics (e.g., TMGT 3020, 3050, CAPSTONE TMGT 4020), plus choice of:

    • Majors: Adventure Studies; Entrepreneurship; Tourism Studies
    • Or Concentrations: Resort Experience; Innovation & Entrepreneurship; Festivals & Events; Adventure Studies

Admission Requirements

  • Grade 12 or mature‑student status
  • English Studies 12 (min 73%)
  • Foundations or Pre‑Calculus Math 11/12 (min. C)
