Course Overview
QIU’s Biomedical Sciences programme bridges the gap between science and medicine. Students gain core knowledge in anatomy, physiology, microbiology, pathology, genetics, and pharmacology. The programme also builds strong laboratory, analytical, and research skills through practical modules and a capstone research project.
Graduates are well-prepared to enter the biomedical workforce or pursue further studies in medicine, clinical diagnostics, or biomedical research.

Admission Requirements
For Malaysian Students:
- STPM: Grade C in two science subjects (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
- A-Level: Grade C in two science subjects
- UEC: 5Bs including two science subjects
- Foundation in Science (QIU or equivalent): Minimum CGPA 2.50
- Diploma in Science or related field: Minimum CGPA 2.75 (credit transfer considered)
For International Students:
- Equivalent qualifications recognised by MOHE
- Must include science background
- English Proficiency:
- IELTS ≥ 5.0
- TOEFL ≥ 500
- MUET Band 3 or equivalent
