About the Course

The B.Arch programme at MSAP combines design studio pedagogy with integrated theory, technical subjects, sustainability and urban planning. Course Overview

MSAP’s B.Arch delivers a structured curriculum blending theory and practical design across 10 semesters. Each semester includes architectural design studios, built environment technology, structures, history, materials, services, and urban design with a strong studio culture and project-based learning.

Course Duration

5 years, full‑time residential study
Includes 1 semester of supervised professional internship
Design studio and theory concurrently taught throughout the programme.

Design Studios: Conceptual and technical design, architectural theory, urbanism
Technical Subjects: Building materials & construction, structural systems, environmental systems & services
Interdisciplinary Modules: History/theory of architecture, sustainable design, urban planning, professional practice
Professional Internship: Semester-long placement in architecture firm or consultancy
Assessments based on assignments, design reviews, sessionals and end-semester examinations.

Admission Requirements

Completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & English, with ≥ 50% aggregate marks
Valid NATA score (50% weight) and qualifying exam marks (50% weight)
Total intake of 160 seats annually

Other charges: registration and refundable caution deposit (~₹10,000) bring total tuition cost variable up to ~₹21.70 Lakhs
