Course Overview

The Bachelor of Agricultural Science offers a holistic understanding of agricultural systems, from fundamental biological and environmental sciences to economic and management principles. Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the Bachelor of Agricultural Science, applicants typically require:

  • Academic: An ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank) of 72.00 (or equivalent selection rank).
  • Prerequisites: Successful completion of Queensland Year 12 (or equivalent) General English, and General Mathematics or Mathematical Methods. Agricultural Science and Biology are highly recommended subjects.
  • English Language Proficiency (for international applicants):
    • IELTS (Academic): Overall 6.5 with no individual band less than 6.0
    • TOEFL iBT: Overall 87 with minimum scores of 19 for Reading, 19 for Listening, 19 for Speaking, and 21 for Writing.
    • PTE Academic: Overall 58 with no communicative skill score less than 50.
