Course Overview

The course is taught across three academic terms: two taught semesters and a summer dissertation or research project.

Assessment methods include coursework, data investigations, programming assignments, and a final research or industry-based project. There are no formal written exams.

Admission Requirements

  • A UK honours degree (2:2 or above) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Equivalent international qualifications will be considered
  • Applicants from non-STEM backgrounds with strong analytical skills may be accepted on a case-by-case basis

English Language Requirements:

  • IELTS 6.0 overall (minimum 5.5 in each component) or equivalent
  • English-medium education may qualify for exemption
