Course Curriculum
The Bachelor of Business curriculum is structured to provide a comprehensive foundation in general business principles, followed by specialized study in a chosen major.
- Year 1: Foundation Business Units (Common Core)
- Covers fundamental competencies in business operations, including Principles of Accounting and Finance, Principles of Economics, Creativity and Innovation, Management Principles, Fundamentals of Law, Introduction to Marketing, Professional Identity (Business), and Statistical Methods.
- Years 2-3: Major Specialization & Electives
- Students select a major in Accounting, Management, Marketing, or Digital Marketing. Coursework deepens knowledge in the chosen field with specialized units and allows for elective choices from other business areas.
- Final Year: Capstone Project
- A culminating industry-based project where students apply theoretical and technical knowledge, practical skills, and attributes to current business situations, preparing them for leadership roles.
Admission Requirements
- Academic qualifications
- Successful completion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent secondary education qualification. This includes the NSW HSC, IB Diploma with at least 25 points, or GCE A Levels (4 points calculated on two or three A/AS level subjects).
- International equivalent qualifications are assessed on a case-by-case basis (e.g., Senior School Certificate (CBSE) or CISCE with 60% average marks for Indian applicants).
- Prior learning recognition
- Relevant 1.5-year Diplomas may receive up to 1 year credit transfer. Relevant 2-year Advanced Diplomas may receive up to 1.5 years credit transfer.
Language Proficiency
- English language requirements (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL)
- The minimum score required is an overall IELTS (Academic) band score of 6.0, with no individual band score less than 5.5, or equivalent scores such as PTE Academic (overall 50, with no section less than 42) or TOEFL iBT (overall 60-78, with minimum scores: Reading 12, Listening 11, Speaking 17, Writing 20).
