Course Overview

This degree programme is structured to provide a comprehensive understanding of both the culinary arts and the business of food service. Students are trained in international cuisines, food safety, service excellence, and kitchen operations, while also developing capabilities in marketing, financial planning, and food service entrepreneurship.

From knife skills to menu engineering, students graduate with the confidence to lead kitchens, manage outlets, or launch their own food and hospitality ventures.

Course Duration

This full-time programme is delivered over 3 years (6 semesters).

Each semester features a blend of theoretical modules and intensive practical training in kitchen labs, service environments, and real-world projects.

Admission Requirements

Malaysian Students:

  • STPM: 2 full passes with a minimum CGPA of 2.00
  • UEC: 5Bs including English
  • Foundation or Diploma in related field with minimum CGPA 2.00
  • SPM with 3 credits and a relevant certificate may also be accepted

International Students:

  • Equivalent academic qualifications
  • English Language Proficiency: IELTS 5.0 / equivalent
  • INTI’s Intensive English Programme available for those who do not meet the requirement

Fees and Funding

  • Malaysian Students: RM 67,500 total
  • International Students: RM 72,000 total

INTI provides financial assistance through scholarships, merit awards, and payment plans. Students may apply for government loans such as PTPTN (Malaysian only).
